This month sees us not only celebrate our 10th anniversary but also build our team to now include Ian Mclean as a Senior Consultant. Ian comes to Channel Dynamics with years of experience working with vendors in the SOHO and low end SMB or ICT Volume sector, where products typically have a list price of less than $300.
The ICT Volume channel is made up of a diverse range of partners such as the mass merchants, e-tailers and online traders, as well as the traditional smaller “high street” resellers. This large number of outlets or partners and the diversity of this channel calls for a well-structured, tailored and programmatic sales and marketing discipline. This approach enables vendors get the coverage they require, ensure that brand and price points are protected and that channel resources and funds are well utilised.
Ian, with his experience gained through leading Volume vendors such as Belkin, Seagate and NETGEAR, brings real world insight and depth to Channel Dynamics that now allows us to better service this section of the market. One of the services that Ian will be offering is a Volume Vendor Health Check. This service is designed to help Volume focused vendors and their distributors quickly identify areas where productivity gains can be made within their existing go to market program or marketing initiatives, and what areas should they tackle first.
Channel Dynamics and Ian will continue to expand the range of Volume specific vendor, distributor and partner sales training and consulting services over the coming months. These services will complement the existing range of channel services currently offered for our SMB/SME, Mid-Market and Enterprise clients.
